Pharmacies have become part of the China Friendly standard
In the Amur Region, three pharmacies have passed certification under the China Friendly program for the first time. The documents were issued to “Social Pharmacy” and two outlets of the “Tvoyaapteka.rf” chain. This status confirms that the establishments are adapted to serve Chinese tourists: now all signs at these locations are duplicated in Chinese, and employees use special translation software to communicate with customers. Since the launch of the China Friendly program in 2015, no Russian pharmacy has previously passed this certification.
The goal of the China Friendly standard is to make the stay of Chinese tourists in Russia as comfortable as possible through trained staff, clear navigation, localized services, and accessible local payment systems. Standardization increases the attractiveness of Russian tours to the China market, which boosts the flow of visitors and the profits of companies.
The standard was developed by the “World Without Borders” association and covers various areas of tourist services: hotels, restaurants, entertainment, etc.
The assessment of facilities for compliance with the standard and the issuance of certificates are carried out by the authorized body “Roskachestvo — Tourism,” which operates on the basis of the Tourism Competence Center. The organization has official accreditation from Rosaccreditation, which confirms its right to conduct independent assessments of hotels, restaurants, and other businesses in the industry in accordance with the established China Friendly criteria.
Companies that successfully pass the assessment will be entitled to use the special China Friendly conformity mark. In addition, information about certified facilities will be included in the official register of Rosaccreditation and integrated into the databases of travel aggregators to attract the target audience from China.
“The presence of the document eliminates situations where a visitor from China encounters service that does not meet their expectations due to cultural differences or the lack of necessary infrastructure,” Roskachestvo stated.
