
Roszdravnadzor team in China
Roszdravnadzor delegation headed by Chief Executive Mikhail Murashko paid a business visit to People’s Republic of China (PRC). As part of Memorandum of Understanding between Roszdravnadzor and China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), the delegation of Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare headed by CEO Mikhail Murashko paid a business visit to People’s Republic of China from 10 to 13 July 2017.
During the visit Mikhail Murashko made a welcoming speech and a report at the Ministerial-level conference on the control and surveillance in the pharmaceutical sector for developing countries, visited the laboratories of the National Institute for the food and drug control (NIFDC) and held talks with CFDA Vice Minister, Mr. Wu Ghen.
Following on from the results of negotiations, during which they discussed key issues of further cooperation between Roszdravnadzor and CFDA under the Memorandum of Understanding, the parties reached the following agreements: to share information on the drug quality on an ongoing basis; to arrange emergency cooperation when investigating serious incidents with the assignment of responsible persons from each side; and to establish a discussion of regulatory practices on cell products.
At the end of the negotiations, Roszdravnadzor and the CFDA representatives conducted a joint inspection on the investigation of counterfeit products.
In addition, within the framework of business events the representatives of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare participated in the meeting of BRICS regulators and examined several sites for the production of medical devices.
