Roszdravnadzor: provision of hiv-infected patients with anti-retrovirus aids is taken under special control
Exercising control over the pharmaceutical provision of patients, including distribution of anti-retrovirus preparations, is one of priorities of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare.
Upon the order of Veronika Skvortsova, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare currently conducts the collection and appraisal of information on the availability of anti-retrovirus preparations in all regions of the country. Relevant orders were sent to Territorial Bodies of this service on February 6, 2017.
All appeals of citizens on issues of pharmaceutical provision with anti-retrovirus medications, coming to this Federal Service, are considered promptly by its experts. Since two claims from the Altai Territory were emailed over the last week to Mikhail Murashko, the head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare, it was decided that the Service’s territorial body for the Altai Territory should hold surveillance of the said facts.
The service reminds that patients who have faced breaches of the procedure of administration and prescription of medications, may appeal to the service’s hotline: to call free 8 800 500 18 35 is possible from any region (in 2016, a total of 3,492 calls were rendered to the hotline, out of which 1,704 were processed urgently, and the rest were referred to territorial bodies of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare for further consideration).
