Starting from 1 January 2017, Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated 15.11.2016 No.145 “On Amendments to Some Decisions of the Commission of the Customs Union and Eurasian Economic Commission” came into effect with amendments to List 2.21 “Human organs and tissues, blood and its components, samples of human biological materials” of the Unified list of goods subject to the import/export prohibitions or restrictions by member States of the Customs Union within the Eurasian economic community in trade with third countries (approved by the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated 21 April 2015 No.30 “On Non-tariff Regulatory Measures”).

The List 2.21 contains the following amendments:

“In Item 8 the wording “of 3002 10 910 0 of 3002 10 950” is replaced by the words “of 3002 12 000 3 of 3002 12 000 4 of 3002 12 000 5 of 3002 13 000 0 of 3002 14 000 0”;

In Item 29, the wording “of 3002 10 950 9″ is replaced by the words “of 3002 12 000 5 of 3002 13 000 0 of 3002 14 000 0”.

The updated list 2.21 is attached (see below).

Please note that licenses for the export or import of goods issued by the competent authorities of the member States of the Eurasian economic Union prior to the entry into force of this Decision are valid until the expiry dates of those licenses.

Samples of human biological materials that are not intended for medical diagnostic purposes, including the blood transfusion or transplantation, shall be exported from the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union in accordance with the export control legislation of the member state of the Eurasian Economic Union.
