Krasnoyarsk Krai Ministry of Public Health and inspected the region’s health care facilities

Roszdravnadzor’s Head Mikhail Murashko attended the final session held by the expert panel of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Ministry of Public Health and inspected the region’s health care facilities

Headed by Roszdravnadzor’s Head Mikhail Murashko, the delegation of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare visited the leading health clinics of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.

During his visit to the government-owned publicly funded Krasnoyarsk Krai Hospital Roszdravnadzor’s Head was able to evaluate the quality of medical care, met doctors and patients; he was shown how acute care patients are admitted at the reception room and then transported to ER, and visited Neurology, Cardio Surgery and Pulmonology Departments. Mikhail Murashko praised the hospital’s pneumonia monitoring method currently applied at the hospital that has sharply reduced mortality rates for this disease in the region and encouraged further efforts to develop the remote ECG diagnostic system that helps ambulance doctors to detect (within 10 minutes) critical conditions for patients with heart problems while in transit and receive online consultation by the region’s cardiologists.

In the government-owned publicly funded Krasnoyarsk Krai Clinical Centre for Mother and Child Welfare, special attention was given to the emergency and advisory center, the algorithm of transportation of newborns and advisory assistance in the first- and second-level institutions.

During his visit to the government-owned publicly funded Krasnoyarsk Krai Clinical Oncology Center named after A.I. Krzhyzhanovsky, Mikhail Murashko learnt about a project for the renovation and expansion of the centre, the oncology treatment structure and appreciated the benefits of the video streaming from operating rooms to the conference hall. Also, Roszdravnadzor’s Head talked to the patients of the center’s Oncourological Surgery Department who shared positive comments as regards to the quality of care provided by the centre’s staff.

In addition, Roszdravnadzor’s delegation paid a working visit to the federal state budgetary institution “The Federal Siberian Clinical Research Centre at FMBA of Russia” and the government-owned publicly funded Krasnoyarsk Krai Centre for Mother and Child Welfare No. 2 in Achinsk, where a perinatal centre is to open its doors soon to the first patients.

3On February 14, 2017, Roszdravnadzor’s Head Mikhail Murashko attended the final meeting held by the expert panel of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Ministry of Public Health to discuss the results for 2016 and plans for 2017.
